R&D Lab was established at CTI in the Year 2004.

Power Transformer is a very vital equipment in Electrical system. IS1866-2000 standard mandates that Oil samples of Transformer should be tested Once in Six months as part of Preventive Maintenance. Oil sample of every New Transformer should be tested Six to seven times in One Year.

R&D Lab conducts following Transformer Oil tests of Power Transformers ranging from 10 MVA to 315 MVA capacities.

R&D Lab is extending services to other Power Utilities (Government & Private) on nominal payment basis.
